From 5-8 pm Delano BBQ will host local photographer Robin (Jacob) Johnson. Robin Johnson is a lifer, born and raised in Kansas. She has a feel for the Plains, the plants and the people. Come see her unique interpretation of the land she loves this Final Friday at Delano BBQ Company, 710 W. Douglas.
Visual Fusion Graphic Design Studio, Wichita will host an event beginning at 6 and featuring Brittany Schaar. Brittany is a Wichita artist whose primary media are pencil drawings and acrylic/oil paintings. Her work is often inspired by the relationships we are all interconnected in within our daily lives. Recollection: A Journey of Fragments focuses on memories: "It is interesting to me that the human brain, each time it remembers something, becomes more fragmented and distorted. In truth, our brains 'make up' or 'imagine' the truth. In many cases, your brain will fabricate your memory. The longer the time span, the harder it is to remember the facts, the reality."
Delano Bed and Breakfast's Final Friday event will be from 5:30 to 8 pm, and will feature Jewelry Botanica by Becky Miller and her "Christmas in July" collection of hand sculpted floral jewelry.
