- Delano Revitalization Plan: Paid parking on Douglas; Arkansas River west bank landscape improvements between Douglas and Maple.
- Establishing backup practices and procedures in the event that a board member can no longer perform their duties (ie: illness, death, resignation)
- Follow up regarding any development issues pending before MAPC: Disagreed with DAB6 on PUD2024-00023 (former reneged brewery)
- Re-establish Communication & Event Committees, and duties if established

- Update on City of Wichita projects: Chisholm Trail Parkway, W Douglas St, Transit Center 10/11, etc

Community Police Report
24C184529 – 10/15/2024 @ 1XX S Fern – Victim reports unk suspect shooting them from behind. Victim reported at a local hospital.
24C192510 – 10/28/2024 7:27 PM @ 6XX S Millwood – Two callers report hearing shots. No damage or injuries located. Bullet casings located.

I found 9 theft from vehicles, 7 burglaries from businesses, and 2 burglaries from homes.
Please remind the neighbors to lock up their vehicles and leave nothing inside overnight. Even $5 in change in the cupholders can be enough reason for a thief to break out your $300 window. Backpacks left in a car will definitely get stolen.
Also, watch for suspicious characters in the neighborhood. Someone sitting in a car for hours, parked on the street, could be a burglar watching a home. Please call 911 and officers will check to see if that person is supposed to be in the neighborhood. If they are, then nothing needs to be done. If they aren’t you may have just saved yourself or a neighbor from $1000’s of property stolen.
Community Services Report
- DAB 4 Monday, December 2nd at 6pm at the Alford branch library.
- Neighborhood cleanup gala on Saturday, December 7 at 1 PM to 2:30 PM at the Goldenrod Park community facility to celebrate organizers and volunteers who have completed or interested in completing a neighborhood cleanup.
- District 4 town hall on Saturday, January 4 at 9:30 AM at Fire station 17. Residence are welcome and we will be joined by a firefighter squad to discuss fire, safety, and prevention tips as well as updates and policy.
