After 6 months of sitting empty, the Westside Christian building, at 1819 W Douglas, has been purchased and is being renovated by a new church to the neighborhood. New Life Covenant Church opens its doors to the community Sunday, Dec 17, in their new location. New Life is new to the neighborhood, but not new to Wichita.
Formally housed in the Cargil Center at the Sedgwick County Zoo the past few years, this 21 year old church, started by Pastors Kit and Vickie Tabor, are excited for a permanent building right in the heart of the Delano District.
New Life Covenant Church is a vibrant, growing community of people, with a mission of "Building lives together to make fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ." New Life offers a family friendly atmosphere where you will find friendly people, energetic worship, life giving teaching, and encouraging environments fit for every age and stage of life.
